Topic: Group Rank Images: Anyone interested?

I like the bottom two that you added the icons to, Steve (malware pro and pc tech).   The Global Mod, I dunno....the pencil seems kinda strange, but then again I don't really know what to put on there either.   Maybe a small globe pic, like Homina8or mentioned or something.   For the Admin one, if you can size down that pic he posted of the guy in the suit, that wouldn't be bad possibly, or I have seen some forums that just have something like a yellow star on the admin icon too (kinda like what's on my G mod title now....a little bigger might be nice for an admin though, just for "status reasons"  ).   But heck, I'm not picky....I'd take 'em like they are if that's what you like.

I'll use a globe and an image like the one in Malware Pro for Global Mod...as well as the same type of image for the Admin.  I have a total of 16 rank images I'm working on.  Should finish them up, later today, and have them online, too.

I think you did a great job on the images, Steve, but I have one question.   Do we still need the title under the username since the new rank images basically say the same thing?   For instance, under my name it says "Global Moderator" then right below that is the rank image that also says "Global Mod".   Same with your "Admin" title and image.   If you want it that way, that's fine, no biggie....I just know you've been on a "clean up the clutter" kick here lately and thought maybe those would be seen as redundant.  If not, that's cool too....not like it sticks out like a sore thumb or anything.  Just askin'.

Taken care of, my friend...     ...and thanks for bringing that to my attention.  The only time you should see anything resembling rank text, now, is if the member has the right to add a custom title...such as CBMatt...since he is the Malware Team Leader.  Other than that...we should be golden.

The only way I can see that removing the text would be an issue is if the rank images don't load for certain...or all members.  I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it...
