Google Custom Search added
« on: January 15, 2012, 11:59:35 am »
Prior to today, the Search box located in the upper right header of this board was used to search the Glitch PC site.  As of today, it has been replaced with a Google Custom Search box.  Meaning...you can search the web...directly from our site.

You can still search our site by using the main Search link located in the navigation bar just below the header area.

This has only been implemented for the board's default theme...it has not been implemented on any other themes...as of yet.

Enjoy!

I've come to the decision...the last thing this board needs is intrusive advertising...so, I've decided to remove all forms of advertising on the board.  This includes the Google Search modification I had implemented.

I do a lot of experimenting around here...as you can probably tell.  I'm trying to find ways to make the board more useful to its members.  I'll add modifications to the board in an effort to do this.  Sometimes...they just don't work out as planned.  All I can ask is that you bear with me during this process.

We still have the built-in Site Search for the board.  Hopefully, this will be sufficient for its members.

Sorry for the inconvenience...as well as the advertising.
